Somewhere in the city, a postcard found its way into your hands.
sometimes i ask:
how do i stay here — truly
how do i not go numb
how do i stay close
to what’s alive
even if it trembles
this
is not an answer
just a trace
a question
a field of small signals
and shifting light
you can read
or leave it unread
you can forget it
and it might still find you
in the shape of a wind
a smell you can’t place
a word that returns
long after
thanks for touching it
however briefly
Maybe a quiet message in the noise.
Maybe you were walking home. Maybe it was raining. Maybe you picked it up without knowing why.
What came to mind?
A laugh? A song? The hum of a place you miss?
This project is an invitation — to appreciate the small moments in life, to listen to what wants to happen, to memory, to connection, to the uncertainty of each moment, and to the imperfection that runs through all living things.
The question that accompanies me most in life is:
How do I stay alive and awake?
In my music, I explore impulses, the fragility of moments, and shifting temporalities.
It’s part of a small personal inquiry connected to my upcoming album
Coordinates of Existence.
It asks:
How do we know that we exist — in a deeper sense?
What are our inner compasses — the memories, resonances, and silent shifts that guide us?
